We stayed here last night and the rooms was a little cold as my husband has a terminal illness it wasn’t ideal so I went down to reception and was greeted by the night staff a women with glasses i cannot remember her name but she was the most empathetic caring person ive come across she showed me 2 other rooms to see if they was warmer but they wasn’t much better so she gave me heaters but just the way she handled it was just lovely the room itself was beautiful I have zero complaints over that but I just want to give credit were credit is needed your very lucky to have a staff member like her
nice hotel reasonably priced. great location in town centre staff were friendly and very knowledgeable of the area and helpful. the rooms were good. the buffet breakfast which was included in the price was pretty good and felt welcomed too. I Will definitely stay here again on my next trip
Hen party 6 of us shared a room with 3 Superking beds which on arrival the staff separated into singles for us with no hassle. Room huge but my only complaint is the shower in the whirlpool bath had no rail to hold onto and I had recently broke my wrist so couldn’t risk climbing into bath without support. The staff were friendly and especially at breakfast they were super attentive. Breakfast was delicious especially the link sausages but would have liked the offer of a fried egg though I’m sure if I had of asked they would have made me one.
Just had a few days here, staff were fabulous shout out to June she's a wee gem and to the girls who decorated our room breakfast at the Shakespeare (soon to be times square) was very tasty x
Went for 2nights midweek, hotel was lovely, rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were very nice and helpful. The lady serving breakfast (didn’t catch her name) she had blonde hair and wore glasses, she was so lovely, nothing was too much trouble for her, she was warm and very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
Excellent customer service and friendly and inviting dining staff. The location is ideal in the heart of the city and a walk away from restaurants, cafes, bars and Liverpool One. The rooms are nice we had a luxury suite and while very clean was a little below what I expected for the price. However, overall would recommend to anyone looking for a central location.
Within 20 min walk from train station. Room was ready on arrival. All staff just genuinely frirlendly and helpful especially christine this morning during breakfast this lady needs an award nothing is too much trouble. Excellent service, friendly sociable helpful. Rooms amazing very luxurious spacious great facilities. Vegan options
staff here are so lovely I stay here all the time and they always ensure my room is perfect and my stay is comfortable. ive had many lovely encounters with the staff who work here, tonight I was greeted by Nya who kindly helped me find the perfect room for me, and we also had a lovely conversation! very lovely down to earth girl, and an outstanding asset to the Shankly hotel. thank you for always providing such high quality rooms and ensuring I am so well looked after as a visitor.
